Christmas Tree Hunt

This year, after years of having a fake Christmas tree, we decided to get a real one. Even the years when we got real trees, they were always pre-cut. I can't even remember the last time we went Christmas tree hunting and actually cut down our own tree. So, happily, this year was a surprise. Ben, our magnificent brother-in-law, acted as our guide in hunting down the perfect tree.

It was just something out of a dream. The smell of pines, and firs all around you. Families and couples here and there looking around for the perfect tree. Whether that be a large, sturdy tree for a family of five, or a small, soft fir for the a couple's first Christmas together. It is a special occasion, and one that now documented in pictures, I will remember always.

It was wintery dream that smelled of pine and joy.
